VIOXX
VIOXX, widely prescribed for osteoarthritis, acute pain management in adults and menstrual symptoms, while no longer advertised and prescribed, was suspended from sale in September 2004, as mounting evidence indicated serious problems with VIOXX.

Classified as an NSAID [Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug] and COX-2 inhibitor, studies reveal VIOXX can cause a significant increased risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolisms, causing great pain, suffering and death.

Other known side effects include respiratory infection and inflammation, urinary tract infection, liver problems, high blood pressure, and other non-life threatening side effects.

If you or any members of your family were prescribed VIOXX, you may be entitled to significant compensation.
