Patrick J. Timmons

An associate at Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, Patrick J. Timmins' main practice areas are personal injury and mass tort litigation, with an emphasis on asbestos litigation.

Patrick joined LPK in 2005. He has extensive jury trial experience. Recently, he was lead plaintiffs' attorney in one of the largest consolidated cases for the 2004 calendar docket of the New York County Supreme Court, which involved 5 plaintiffs with asbestos related diseases and 8 defendant corporations.

During the 1990s, Patrick prosecuted many criminal cases, including murder and other violent felonies, at the Bronx County District Attorney's office. While there, he also participated in an outreach program that taught law and civics to a local, public school.

Patrick is an adjunct professor in the Law, Police Science, and Criminal Justice Administration Department at John Jay College, a division of the City University of New York. There, he teaches Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.

While at Pace University School of Law, Patrick participated in the school's first International Moot Court at Gray's Inn, one of London's four Inns of Court, against Great Britain's University College.

Patrick is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and in federal courts of both states. He lives in Manhattan with his wife, Susan, and their three children, a boy and twin girls.
