Brian is co-author with Hon. Steffen W. Graae, The Law of Evidence in the District of Columbia (Mathew Bender/Lexis 2005). This treatise is the leading resource on the use of evidence in District of Columbia courts.

Brian is a member of the Bar Association of the City of New York and has served on its litigation committee since 2000; the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

Brian is on the Board of Directors of For the Good of the Neighborhood, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and athletic programs to inner-city neighborhoods in Queens, New York.

Before joining LPK, Brian received a J.D. from Antioch School of Law and an LL.M. (business crimes) from the New York University School of Law. After completing his law studies, Brian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steffen W. Graae of the District of Columbia Superior Court and to the Honorable Edward R. Neaher of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York
